HC impleads SFI, DYFI, ABVP in College case
Kochi, July 14 (UNI) The Kerala High Court today impleaded some student organisations in the writ petitions filed by self-financing college managements challenging the constitutional validity of the Kerala Self-Financing College (Regularisation and Control) Act 2006.
Mr Justice S Siri Jagan permitted the SFI, ABVP and DYFI to implead in the matter as additional respondents.
The Court permitted certain students, Malini and others, who are included in the common rank list, to also implead in the case.
At the same time, it dismissed the petitions filed by the All Kerala Private College Teachers Association, Private School Teachers Association, Kerala Vidyabhyasa Samithi and Hindu Aikya Vedi holding that they were not affected parties in the case.
The court mentioned that it can pass interim orders only after going through the legal provisions and the Supreme Court judgments in the case.
