Four people dead, 20 injured in two separate accidents
Dehra Dun, July 14 (UNI) Three people, including a women, died and 11 others were injured when a bus they were travelling in fell into a gorge at Danapani in Almorah district of Uttaranchal today.
District Magistrate Rajeev Chandra said a private bus heading towards Jalali from Ramnagar with 14 pople on board fell into a deep gorge at Danapani.
Anandi Devi, 55, and her son Kundan Singh, 35, died on the spot.
One of the injured Laxman Ram (40) succumed to injuries on way to hospital. The injured have been hospitalised, he added.
In another incident, an Assistant Sub Inspector of the Central Industrial Security Force died and nine other constables were injured when the vehicle carying them fell into deep gorge at Tehri.
According to the police sources, CISF van fell into 100-meter-deep gorge early this morning. The deceased has been identified as Rampal Singh of Bagpat.
