Fire in plastic factory

Chennai, July 14 (UNI) A fire broke out at a private plastic factory in suburban Manali, near here, early today.

An employee who noticed the fire at 0200 hrs, called the fire services personnel who rushed to the spot and put out the blaze after a four-hour long battle.

Sources said the damage may run to several lakh.However, officials have not come to the exact number as yet.
