England declare first innings at 528 for nine

LONDON, July 14 (Reuters) England declared their first innings at 528 for nine 85 minutes before the scheduled close on the second day of the first test against Pakistan at Lord's today.

Paul Collingwood top-scored with 186, the highest individual score by an Englishman against Pakistan at Lord's, and Ian Bell scored exactly 100, reaching his century with last man Monty Panesar at the crease.

England's third century-maker Alastair Cook was out for 105 in the morning session after adding only four to his overnight total.

Leg spinner Danish Kaneria was the most successful of the Pakistan bowlers with three for 119 from 52 overs.
