DONER Ministry to take up 11 new road projects in NE
Aizawl, Jul 14 (UNI) The Union Ministry for Development of North Eastern Region (DONER) would be soon implementing eleven new road projects across the NE region here.
According to the project details the scheme includes- revised project estimate of Fatikory-Kailasahar road in Assam and Tripura costing Rs 72.04 crore, Jotte-Balijan road in Assam-Arunachal Pradesh costing Rs 55.26 crore, Sonapur-Umden road in Assam and Meghalaya at the cost of Rs 58.78 crore.
Apart from this, the DONeR Ministry cleared seven road proposals of the 10th Plan which includes- Cherra-Mawsmai-Shella in Meghalaya for Rs 34.46 crore, Longleng-Ladaigarh in Nagaland-Assam for Rs 65.67crore, Wohkha-Merapani-Golaghat in Nagaland and Assam for Rs 79.28 crore, Na Ali Road in Assam for Rs 52.80 crore, Pandit Hemchandra Road in Assam Rs 30.68 crore.
Digboi-Pengiri-Bordumsa-Mahadevpur in Assam&Arunachal Pradesh have been alloted Rs 92.32 crore and Churchanpur-Singhat Road in Manipur Rs 27.39 for the current fiscal.
