DA case against drug inspector

Patna, July 14 (UNI) The state vigilance investigation bureau had registered a Disproportinate Asset (DA) case against a former drug inspector of Patna under Prevention of Corruption Act.

According to the FIR, former Drug Inspector Awadhesh Kumar Singh had amassed properties worth Rs 9.55 lakhs disproportionate to the known sources of his income during his posting at Patna Medical College Hospital (PMCH) between 1994-2004.

According to the charges, the accused in connivance with pharmaceutical shops had collected wealth by selling spurious medicines in the open market.
