Congress worker shot dead

Bulandshahr, July 14 (UNI) A Congress worker was shot dead today by unidentified miscreants in Khurja city.

Police said Mohar Singh (78), also a transporter, was attacked when he was returning home. He was rushed to hospital, but succumed to injuries on the way.

Meanwhile, police suspect a personal dispute to be the cause of crime. The body had been sent for autopsy.

Investigations were on.
