Cipla to consider Q1 result on July 21

New Delhi, July 14 (UNI) Indian drugmaker Cipla today said its board will meet on July 21 to consider the financial results for the first quarter ended June 30, 2006.

The meeting will consider the annual accounts for the year ended March 31, 2006 and also unaudited financial results for first quarter ended June 30, 2006, a comapany statement said today.

Last month Cipla received tentative FDA approval to produce an oral version of the antiretroviral drug lamivudine, a generic version of GlaxoSmithKline's Epivir, under the President's Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief.
