BJP MLA surrenders in court

Patna, Jul 14 (UNI) BJP MLA Awnish Kumar Singh today surrendered before a local court in a case related to tresspassing the office of Transport Commissioner and was later released on bail.

During the day MLA Mr Singh surrendered before the chief judicial magistrate of Patna Ms Sushma Sinha and prayed for his release in the light of anticipatory bail already granted to him by the disrtrict and session judge.

Mr Singh was released on bail after furnishing a bail bond of Rs 10,000 with two sureties of the like amount.

The case was related to an allegation of tresspassing the office of Transport Commissioner-cum-secretary Pancham Lal and obstructing a public servant in discharging his official duty on July 3 last.

BJP MLA, Mr Singh, RJD MLA Babloo Deo, a motor vehicle inspector who was now under suspension, Sunil Tiwary had been named accused in the case.
