Army jawan killed in landslide

Jammu, July 14 (UNI) One army jawan was killed and two others were injured when a bolder struck an Army Road Opening Party (ROP) in Udhampur district today.

According to official sources the ROP was on work at the Mahore area to clear the road, blocked due to landslide yesterday, when a bolder struck, injuring two jawans seriously.

The jawans, identified as Nand Lal Gosh and Kuldeep Singh, were airlifted to the command hospital at Udhampur where Gosh died, sources added.
