Airtel launches services in Mizoram

Aizawl, July 14 (UNI) Airtel, India's one of the largest mobile service providers, today launched its operations in Mizoram.

About 4000 post-paid and pre-paid SIMs were activated and another 5000 are expected to begin operations within few days.

Airtel is the first private company to launch its services in the state.

Before Airtel, BSNL was the only mobile service provider in the state with over 35,000 customers.
