38 taken ill after consuming food

Bongaon, Jul 14 (UNI) At least 38 people were admitted to Bagdah Hospital near here in North 24 Parganas since last night after they consumed food in a marriage ceremony, according to police today.

Police suspected that food was contaminated owing to a fish preparation.

However, the patients were out of danger, hospital sources said.
