Two more Amarnath pilgrims die; toll 29 since June 11
Srinagar, July 13 (UNI) Two more Amarnath devotees have died since last evening, taking the toll so far to 29 since the commencement of the two-month-long pilgrimage on June 11, official sources said today.
They said 41-year-old Deshmant Bhai, a resident of Gujarat, died at Sheshnag enroute the holy cave shrine of Amarnath from traditional Pahalgam track this morning.
Another pilgrim, 60-year-old Patil Daya Bhai, a resident of Gandhi Nagar in Gujarat, died at the Sri Maharaja Hari Singh (SMHS) Hospital here last evening, the sources added.
He was referred to the SMHS Hospital here from Pahalgam medical camp last evening.
