Two deserters of CPI(Maoist) killed
Chatra, July 13 (UNI) The inter-gang rivalry came to the fore again in the Naxalite groups in Jharkhand when two former members of proscribed CPI(Maoist) were killed in separate incidents at Simria police station in Jharkhand's Chatra district late last night.
Naxalite picked up Prasad Sahu (32), a cloth trader from his residence at Tuntun village under Labalong block and killed him.
His body was found near paramatu school.
In another simultaneous operation, the ultras picked up 15-year-old Prakash Sahu at Balachatra village and killed him brutally before the body was thrown in a jungle near Labhra village.
Police today said the Naxalites left notes in the bodies accusing the two of being involved in forming another group.
The villagers infuriated over the incident and have demanded compensation from the government for the kin of the deceased.
