Shankara Murthy suffers mild stress; treated at hospital
Bangalore, July 13 (UNI) Karnataka Education Minister and Leader of the House in the Legislative Council D H Shankara Murthy was rushed to a hospital here today after he complained of giddiness.
The Minister was at the Vidhana Soudha, the State Secretariat, here to attend the Council session when he complained of uneasiness and giddiness. He was immediately taken to the Jayadeva Institute of Cardiology.
Institute Director C N Manjunath told UNI that the condition of Mr Shankara Murthy was fine. There was nothing to worry as he had suffered giddiness only due to stress.
The Minister left the hospital after undergoing certain tests including ECG, ecogram and blood test, he added.
