Renuka for mobile beauty parlours
New Delhi, July 13 (UNI) Emphasising the need for educating and empowering women for setting up their own businesses, Minister of State for Women and Child Development Renuka Chowdhury has moved a new concept of establishing mobile beauty parlours.
Speaking at the convocation of beauty-care institute VLCC here yesterday, Ms Chowdhary appreciated the growing number of people joining beauty courses, saying ''It is a good business, where not only women but men are also coming forward.'' She stressed that beauty sector has huge potential for growth and after undergoing beauty course women can establish their own business or get employeed, and become financially independent.
Ms Chowdhary said mobile beauty parlour should be set up to provide assistance to people, recovering from certain ailments and want to look good after the treatment.
Besides, she gave away certificates to the candicates who passed out from the institute.
VLCC founder Vandana Luthra was also present on the occasion.
