Mukul Singhal appointed new MAIT President

New Delhi, July 13 (UNI) The Manufacturer's Association for Information Technology (MAIT) today announced the appointment of Lipi Data System Chairman and MD Mukul Singhal as its President for 2006-08, while TVS Electronics president S S Rehman was appointed as the Vice-President.

MAIT is the apex body representing the interests of IT manufacturing and hardware and designs and associated services sector of IT industry in India.

Mr Singhal has replaced Mr Rajendra Kumar, who held the office for 2004-06.
