K'taka Govt to generate 1,000 MW through wind mills

Bangalore, July 13 (UNI) The Karnakata Government has identified 23 districts to meet its target of generating 1,000 MW of wind energy, Energy Minister H D Revanna informed the State Legislative Council today.

Replying to a query from Mr Blasius D'souza (Congress) during question hour, he said power generation from wind mills was in progress in seven districts. Work in the remaining 16 districts would begin soon.
