KSIL to conduct awareness meets for Bar benders

Chennai, Jul 13 (UNI) Kanishk Steel Industries Limited (KSIL) has charted a plan of action to conduct awareness meets for 'Bar Benders' across the southern region.

In the first phase, the company in association with Builders' Association of India, Southern Region, conducted an exclusive workshop for bar benders in the city.

The main objective of the workshop is to enhance the skills of the bar benders in fine-tuning the techniques of bar bending and understanding the importance of the correct usage of TMT bars in construction, a company release said.

"With this training, we aim to create awareness among the bar benders about the proper techniques involved in using TMT bars for construction,'' Kanishk Steel President Arvind Gupta said.
