Kochi, Jul 13 (UNI) The Kerala High Court today reserved its interim orders on the writ petitions challenging the constitutional validity of the Kerala Self-Financing College (Regulation and Control) Act 2006.

Justice S Siri Jagan today heard further arguements of the managements and the state in the matter.

The state strongly opposed the plea of the managements to make interim arrangement for admission for this year, based on the directive of the Supreme Court in May this year.

In May, the Supreme Court had permitted the managements to fill up 50 per cent of the seats and to collect fees determined by the Justice K T Thomas commission.

The managements submitted that they had completed the admission process in 50 per cent of the seats pursuant to the Supreme Court order.
