Indonesian president's N Korea trip postponed
Jakarta, Jul 13: A trip planned for next week by Indonesia's president to North Korea, where he intended to raise concerns over Pyongyang's test-firing of missiles, has been postponed, a presidential spokesman said today.
North Korea tested at least seven missiles last week, alarming its north Asian neighbours and drawing international condemnation.
President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono had been tentatively due to visit North Korea on July 17-19. He had previously postponed planned visits to both Koreas in June after a May 27 earthquake killed 5,000 people and he took on relief efforts.
