Guj BJP stage demonstrations to condemn Mumbai blasts

Ahmedabad, July 13 (UNI) Bharatiya Janata Party activists here today staged a demonstration to condemn the killing of innocent people in the serial train bomb blasts in Mumbai.

The BJP activists, with black ribbons tied around their mouth, staged a demonstration near freedom fighter Indulal Yagnik's statue here this evening.

They raised slogans like ''Congress must handle demons of terror with stern hands'' and ''Ekta Badhao, Trasvaad Ne Hatao (Strengthen unity, quash terrorism)''.

Yesterday, local minority community leaders had also condemned the blasts and burnt terrorists in effigies. They also hailed the Hindu-Muslim unity and the peace that has prevailed after the serial blasts.
