Achanta to officiate in British Open

Chennai, July 13 (UNI) For the second year in a row, Indian Referee Ishwar Achanta has been invited to officiate in the prestigious 135th British Open Golf Championship to be held from July 20 to 23.

Mr Achanta, one of the six qualified Indian referees, had received the invitation from the Royal and Ancient Golf Club of St Andrews, Scotland.

He would be leaving for the United Kingdom on July 17.
