6 killed as auto hits tipper lorry in AP

Hyderabad, July 13 (UNI) Six persons, including two women and a child, were killed on the spot when an auto collided head-on with a lorry at Kothagangaram Village of Khammam District in Andhra Pradesh this morning.

According to police, the victims were proceeding to Palavancha from Jillelagudem when the accident occurred.

The deceased were identified as auto driver Nagaraju(35) S Sreenu (18), S Devamma(40), S Mahalakshmi (30), K Nagesh(27) and Yesudasu (2).

The lorry driver was taken into custody, police said.
