VHP, Bajrang Dal activists stage demonstrations against Mumbai blast

Ahmedabad, July 12 (UNI) The activists of the Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) and Bajrang Dal (BD) today staged a state-wide demonstration protesting against the killing of innocent people in the serial bomb blasts in local trains in Mumbai yesterday, in which over 180 people had been killed and several hundreds injured.

The VHP&BD activists, demonstrating their anger and wrath against the Muslims, gathered near Mahatma Gandhi statue at Income Tax Circle here this evening.

They shouted slogans like 'Pani Mango To Doodh Denge, 'Kashmir Mango To Goli Denge' (ask for water, you will get milk, but if asked for Kashmir, you will get bullets).

Similar demonstrations were held at all the district headquarters and major towns and cities of the state, VHP sources said.

The local minority leaders also condemned the blasts and burnt effigies of unknown terrorists, while expressing their solidarity with India. They also hailed the Hindu-Muslim unity and peace observed after the serial blasts.
