Uma's threat to topple govt is to entertain herself:Chouhan

Badwani, July 12 (UNI) Reacting to Bharatiya Janshakti President Uma Bharti's threat to topple the Madhya Pradesh Government, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan today said 'Dil behlane ke liye Ghalib yeh khyal achha hai'.

Mr Chouhan made the comment when asked by reporters regarding Ms Bharti's claim to dislodge the government in October.

Regarding displacement work under the Sardar Sarovar Dam in Madhya Pradesh, he said the Congress and other political parties should cooperate in completing rehabilitation instead of politicising the issue.

Commenting upon the Supreme Court's direction to continue work at the dam after the Shunglu Committee presented its report, Mr Chouhan said it was clear that Union Minister Saifuddin Soz had displayed over-enthusiasm in presenting the report and created illusion.

He said Union HRD Minister Arjun Singh had tried to spread confusion over the issue during the same time.

The Chief Minister said politics must not be played upon such sensitive issues. Instead, everyone must think about the welfare of public.

Regarding senior IAS officer P Raghvan raising finger on former Chief Minister Digvijay Singh over alleged corruption in purchase of bus by the MP State Road Transport Corporation during undivided Madhya Pradesh, he said the government would not tolerate corruption and guilty would not be spared.
