Sobha Renaissance acquires German telecom software company
Bangalore, July 12 (UNI) Sobha Rennaisance Information Technology (SRIT) today announced a multi-million Euro acquisition with additional investment outlay of Rs 60 crore (Approx 10.2 million Euro).
SRIT, providers of outsourced IT business services and software products in Healthcare, Telecoms and Enterprise space, had acquired Munich-based Billing Components AG, strengthening its offering in the Telecom's Operational and Business domain, a company release here said.
Billing Components AG was a creator of software components for the telecom market in the areas of customer care, billing and collections, rating, usage collection, provisioning and inter-carrier reconciliation and settlements. The exact value of the acquisition had, however, not been revealed.
SRIT said the multi-million Euro acquisition would help expand its offerings in providing several business software solutions to all kinds of Telecommunication and Communication Service Providers, be it Telematics, GSM, CDMA, Fixed Wireline, IP, VoIP, Wimax, 3G, GPRS or UMTS service providers.
SRIT CEO Madhu Nambiar said the acquisition brings in marquee customers like T-Mobile, Eronet, Vodafone-Si.mobil, Cosmoron, Thales in France, United Kingdom, Austria, Russia, Slovenia, Croatia, Romania, Bulgaria, Australia, Bahrain and Bosnia.
