Security strengthened in Cyberabad
Hyderabad, July 12: The Cyberabad police has stepped up security as 350-odd multi-national software companies fall under its limits in the wake of yesterday's serial bomb blast in Mumbai and grenade attacks in Srinagar.
Talking to UNI, Cyberabad Police Commissioner Mahender Reddy said they were in constant touch with the security agencies manning the software firms in their limits.
'A virtual security blanket has been put in place in Cyberabad limits. With the joint efforts of private security agencies and police, we are keeping the Cyberabad limits safe,' he added.
He said policemen and anti-sabotage teams, posted at vulnerable places in Cyberabad, were carrying out checks near the railways stations, bus stands and places of worship, besides checking of vehicles.
Search operations were being carried out under the supervision of senior police officials, he added.
