Satyam Computer ranks as 2nd global outsourcing vendor

New Delhi, July 12 (UNI) Satyam Computer Services has been ranked second as global outsourcing vendor, a survey result of Brown-Wilson Group today said.

''To be placed in the top two is a tribute to our superior team of executives, as well the remarkable and talented people they manage. It also reinforces stakeholders confidence in our capabilities,'' Company's Founder and Chairman B Ramalinga Raju said. This recognition brings with it an additional responsibility to create added business value to maintain our leadership position, he added.

The company improved its rank from number 19 in 2005. This year, the company also figured as the leading Indian provider.

The annual survey covered nearly 870 IT and ITeS companies worldwide and analysed 872 outsourcing vendors in 63 countries.

The survey measured CEO commitment, human capital performance, corporate direction and leadership impact.

Survey results will appear in the Black Book of Outsourcing, a renowned and highly endorsed publication.
