Polish new PM says confidence vote due next Wednesday

WARSAW, July 12 (Reuters) Poland's Prime Minister Jaroslaw Kaczynski today said his new government would be sworn in on Friday, while a confidence vote was planned for next Wednesday, all-news television channel TVN24 said.

The swearing-in ceremony was initially planned for tomorrow and the confidence vote in the new prime minister on Friday.

TVN24 also quoted Kaczynski as saying there would be no changes to a coalition agreement with two fringe parties that have ruled with the Law and Justice party since May.

Fringe leftist party Self-Defence today demanded a new agreement with the ruling conservatives as a condition for their support in a confidence vote tentatively scheduled for Friday.
