Pak ISI agent in police custody till July 22

Jaipur, July 12 (UNI) The arrested Pakistani ISI agent Aslamram has been remanded in police custody till July 22.

Aslam, a resident of Pakistan's Rahimar Khan area, is a 25-year-old-Hindu and had come here in March. He was arrested from Shyam Nagar area of the city yesterday.

Inspector General Megh Chand Meena said Aslamram's uncle had been living in the state capital for quite sometime now. Aslamram also wanted to settle here. He was staying in Mansarovar area with his uncle. He got his visa extended and started working in a factory in Shyam Nagar.

Sources said Aslam's main work was to gather information about defence forces and their network and pass them on to Pakistan's ISI.

He was successful in gathering some information and sending them over. He was taught the sign language in Pakistan.

During interrogation, he revealed the ISI had threatened to finish his family in Pakistan if he failed to provide them the required information.
