Offers energy solutions for malls

Hyderabad, Jul 12 (UNI) Blue Star, India's central airconditioning and refrigeration company and Danfoss, a Denmark-based transnational company dealing with energy conservation products, would offer dedicated energy solutions for malls, IT and infrastructure projects in the country.

Danfoss regional vice president (Asia Pacific) Ravichandran Purushothaman said given the rapid growth in the retail and IT industry in particular, the demand for airconditioning and commercial refrigeration systems was expected to grow multifold in the country. He said this growth will only create an additional strain on the country's energy demand.

He said Danfoss and Blue Star will jointly offer a wide range of solutions in energy conservation and optimization, clean power concepts and harmonic reduction techniques in HVAC system. ''While Danfoss has developed the tools and models to analyse and redesign energy profiles for optimization, Blue Star's Service division has over 3000 annual maintenance contracts with Indian HVAC users who use these tools that offer energy solutions'', he added.
