Naxal killed in AP village

Khammam, Andhra Pradesh, July 12 (UNI) A naxal belonging to CPI (Maoist) Party was killed in an exchange of fire with police in the Chintur Forest area of the district today.

A police team which was on combing duty in the forest area came across a naxal team, and asked them to surrender. But the extremists opened fire.

Police retaliated killed a naxal. Other activists fled from the scene, police said.
