Mumbai blast;Swamy blames UPA Govts soft approach to terrorists

Chennai, July 12 (UNI) Condemning the serial bomb blasts that rocked Mumbai, Janata Party President Subramanian Swamy today blamed the UPA Government's ''soft approach to terrorists'' for the dastardly attack.

In a statement here, he alleged the UPA Government was now a confirmed failure on all major dimensions of government policy-- economy, national security and foreign affairs.

The failure was partly due to ''ineptitude but more often due to deliberate disregard of public interest'' on the part of the Congress and Left parties, he alleged.

Everyday terrorists were coming from abroad and setting off explosions at will and with impunity, Dr Swamy claimed and said all these attacks were aimed at undermining the Hindu civilisation.

On the economic front, the recent collapse of the stock market and the huge price rise was directly the result of corrupt activities of those in high positions in government, he alleged.
