IUML condemns serial train blasts in Mumbai

Mumbai, July 12 (UNI) The Indian Union of Muslim League (IUML) today strongly condemned the serial blasts in Mumbai trains yesterday, describing the act as ''cowardly and barbaric''.

''No words are strong enough to condemn the serial blasts in trains in Mumbai. It was a cowardly and barbaric attack on Mumbai,'' a statement issued by IUML president G M Banatwalla here said.

Those responsible must be brought to law for their savage deed, the statement said.

The IUML has appealed to the people to ''face terrorism with iron solidarity and calm''.

''We extend our heartfelt condolences to the families of those killed and express sympathies with the injured,'' the IUML statement said.
