Israel approves wave of Lebanon air strikes - TV

JERUSALEM, July 12 (Reuters) - Israeli Defence Minister Amir Peretz today authorised a campaign of air strikes in Lebanon that would target both Hizbollah guerrilla installations and Lebanese civilian infrastructure, Israel's Channel 10 said.

It described the planned blitz as part of Israel's response to the capture of two of its soldiers and killing of several others in a Hizbollah border raid earlier in the day.
