Guilty not to be spared for manhandling officer: Minister
Patna, July 12 (UNI) Taking exception to the alleged manhandling of a manager of State Food Corporation(SFC) at his official chamber in Saran district yesterday, Bihar government today announced that it would take stern action against the guilty.
Food and Civil Supply Minister Suchitra Sinha expressed anguish over the incident in which manager of SFC's Saran branch Jagat Narain Shukla was roughed up.
The district administration had been asked to take strong action against the guilty, she added.
Ms Sinha made it clear that any vandalism in the offices would not be tolerated adding the culprits would be punished irrespective of their political affiliations. She asked state government officers and employees to work fearlessly.
A BJP leader had allegedly manhandled Mr Shukla following an altercation over some issue. An FIR was also lodged against the BJP leader in the concerned police station.
