Geelani condemn Mumbai and Srinagar blasts, describe it terrorism
Srinagar, July 12 (UNI) Majlis Shoura, the highest decision making body of the breakaway Hurriyat Conference (HC) has condemned yesterday's serial blasts in Mumbai and Srinagar.
The members of the shoura have expressed concern over the blasts and said the attack on innocent people and tourists was nothing but terrorism.
"It was a violation of the Human Rights," the members said during the meeting held here under the chairmanship of Syed Ali Shah Geelani at its Rajbagh headquarter.
Expressing sympathy with the bereaved families, the HC demands an inquiry into these blasts by an independent agency.
A spokesman of the Hurriyat Conference said it was reiterated that struggle for achieving the freeom will continue at all costs.
It was alleged in the meeting that situation in the Kashmir valley was very serious and Indian leadership has failed to take any notice of daily killings of innocent people and alleged human rights violations by the security forces.
