DoNER ministry clears eleven road projects
Shillong, Jul 12 (UNI) The Union Ministry for Development of North Eastern Region has approved eleven projects.
The projects include - revised project estimate of Fatikory-Kailasahar road in Assam&Tripura costing Rs 72.04 crore, revised project estimate of Jotte-Baliajan road in Assam-Arunachal Pradesh costing Rs 55.26 crore, revised project estimate of Sonapur-Umden road in Assam&Meghalaya costing Rs 58.78 crore, revised project estimate of Interstate Bus terminus at Guwahati for Rs 21.58 crore.
The EFC meeting, chaired Secretary DoNER Gauri Chattterjee and attended by Secretary North Eastern Council HV Laringa and NA Vishwanathan, Financial Adviser (Home&DoNER), also cleared seven road proposals of the 10th Plan which included- Cherra-Mawsmai-Shella road in Meghalaya for Rs. 34.46 crore, Longleng-Ladaigarh road in Nagaland-Assam for Rs. 65.67crore, Wohkha-Merapani-Golaghat road in Nagaland&Assam for Rs. 79.28 crore, Na Ali Road in Assam for Rs. 52.80 crore, Pandit Hemchandra Road in Assam Rs. 30.68 crore, Digboi-Pengiri-Bordumsa-Mahadevpur in Assam&Arunachal Pradesh for Rs. 92.32 crore and Churchanpur-Singhat Road in Manipur for Rs.27.39 crore.
