Delhi BJP condemn blasts, demand PM's resignation

New Delhi, July 12 (UNI) Blaming the Centre's "terrorists conducive" policies for the serial bomb blasts in Mumbai, the Delhi BJP today demanded resignation of Prime Minister Manmohan Singh.

''Terrorism has spread in many States. The terrorists, after committing heinous crimes get away easily. The Central Government is not taking any concrete steps against them,'' the party said in a sattement.

''A few days ago RDX in large quantity was recovered from four places in Marathwada. At that time the Centre and the State governments should have taken precautionary measures. The result is with us,'' Delhi Pradesh Vice-President Ram Bhaj said.

''Inspite of this the Central Government has not started a country-wide campaign to apprehend the terrorists. The Congress Government is not taking any action for dismantling the terrorists camp being run in Pakistan,''they said.

Meanwhile, hundreds of BJP workers, led by Mr Bhaj, staged a dharna against the price spiral at Sewa Nagar Chowk today.

The speakers warned Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit that she should either curb the price spiral or resign from the post.

''The NDA Government in its six years rule did not allow the prices to increase. But during the two years rule of the UPA, the prices have increased many times. This is an indicator of the failure of Government,'' they said.
