Bharat Pumps and Compressers bags Rs 20 cr orders from IOC

Allahabad, July 12 (UNI) Bharat Pumps Compressors Ltd (BPCL), manufacturers of heavy duty pumps and compressors, has bagged orders worth Rs 20 crore by Indian Oil Corporation (IOC).

Under the contract, BPCL will manufacture one no 2hd/2 compressors for capacity augmentation and one no 4hf/three compressors for hydrogen makeup service for IOC's hydrocracker unit which will be used for improving quality of diesel/petrol, resulting into reduction in pollution.

BPCL was awarded these orders against stiff international competitive biddings, a company statement said.

Besides, the company has also received an order from Gujarat State Petroleum Corporation Ltd, Gandhi Nagar, for 10 nos CNG cascades required for dispensing of CNG gases in Gujarat.
