Bank of Rajasthan hikes interest rates
Indore, July 12: Bank of Rajasthan (BoR), one of the leading private sector banks, has revised interest rates on NRE and FCNR(B) deposits.
The interest rate on NRE term deposits for the maturity period of 1 year to less than 2 years and 2 year to less than 3 years has been increased from 6.40 per cent to 6.70 per cent. For maturity period of 3 years the rate has been hiked from 6.50 per cent to 6.70 per cent.
The interest rates on FCNR(B) deposit in US dollar for the period 1 year to less then 2 years has been increased from 5.43 per cent to 5.69 percent and for the maturity period 2 years to less then 3 years from 5.43 per cent to 5.69 per cent. The interest rate for USD deposits for 3 years period has been raised from 5.45 per cent to 5.68 per cent.
In case of GBP deposits for the maturity period of 1 year to less than 2 years, the interest rate has been increased from 4.94 per cent to 5.01 per cent, while for the maturity period of 2 years to less than 3 years has been increased from 5.03 per cent to 5.13 per cent. For the maturity period of 3 years, the interest rate has been increased from 5.08 percent to 5.19 per cent.
In case of Eero deposits for the maturity period of 1 year to less than 2 years, the interest rate has been hiked from 3.32 per cent to 3.52 percent, while for the maturity period of 2 years to less than 3 years has been increased from 3.61 per cent to 3.82 per cent and for the maturity period of 3 years, the interest rate has been increased from 3.73 per cent to 3.94 per cent, a bank statement said have.
