ARI net profit up 99% at Rs 20.01 cr for Q1

New Delhi, July 12 (UNI) Real estate and construction company Anant Raj Industries (ARI) today posted a 99 per cent increase in its net profit at Rs 20.01 crore for the quarter ended June 2006, as against Rs 0.19 crore for the same period last year.

The total revenue during the March 2006 quarter has grown to Rs 30.10 crore from 0.22 crore in the corresponding quarter.

Meanwhile, the income from operations increased by 762 per cent to Rs 38.97 crore during the quarter ended June 2006 from Rs 4.52 crore in the corresponding quarter last year.
