AP Mahila Cong hails reservation for women in polls

Hyderabad, Jul 12 (UNI) The Andhra Pradesh Mahila Congress today thanked Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy and APCC President K Keshava Rao for providing 36.3 per cent of the seats to women in the recently concluded civic polls in the state.

Mahila Congress President K Ganga Bhavani, while expressing happiness over the splendid victory of the Congress in the elections, appealed to party activists, especially women, to participate in large numbers in victory celebrations to be held on July 16.

The Mahila Congress hailed the Congress leaders' decision to provide highest number of seats for women workers in civic polls.
