Anti-national citizens be stripped of voting rights: VHP
New Delhi, July 12 (UNI) The Vishwa Hindu Parishad today said the ''Vibhishans among us '' were causing more harm to the country than external forces and demanded that all those found involved in anti-national activities be stripped of their voting rights.
Expressing dismay over the involvement of a ''particular section of society'' in the terror acts across the country, senior VHP leader Giriraj Kishore said internal forces, acting at the behest of their masters across the border, were involved in disintegrating India.
''If a Muslim is found involved in such disruptive activities, his right to vote should be taken away, but if a Hindu was found guilty, a more severe punishment be meted out to him...his property should also be confiscated.'' On whether this might alienate the Muslims, he said, ''for a larger cause, a small sacrifice had to be made.'' UNI AN RR PM1914
