AMU condemns terrorist acts in Mumbai and Srinagar
Aligarh, July 12 (UNI) The Aligarh Muslim University(AMU) staff today strongly condemned the inhuman killing of innocent people in Mumbai and Srinagar blasts and urged the authorities to the identify culprits and bring them to book.
''Terrorist acts benefit no one and they need to be stopped at all costs,'' teachers, non-teaching staff and officers of the University said at a meeting held here to condemn the blasts and express sympathies with victims of the terrorist acts.
The participants stressed that all should stand united in this hour of need and resolve to defeat the ulterior designs of the terrorists.
''The AMU Community sent its heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families. It prayed to the Almighty that the souls of those dead may rest in peace and wished a speedy recovery to those injured,'' an AMU release here said.
