AIMMM, GICIC condemn terror attacks in Mumbai and Srinagar
New Delhi, July 12 (UNI) The All India Muslim Majlis-e-Mushawarat (AIMMM) has condemned the 'mindless terrorist act' in Mumbai, calling it a crime against humanity.
AIMMM president Syed Shahbuddin said the government should unearth the conspiracy and ferret out the authors of this brutal and inhuman crime and punish them as per law.
Calling upon the people to maintain calm and not be misled by ''preachers of hatred'', Mr Shahabuddin said in a statement that the AIMMM unequivocally condemns this dastradly act carried out by ''evil forces of darkness''.
The Global Council of Indian Christians (GCIC), in its condemnation statement said it was shocked at the barbaric attack on innocent citizens of Mumbai and Kashmir.
The Council stands in solidarity with the whole nation and joins in expressing our heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families of the terror attacks, it said adding ''We urge the civil society to work with greater detrmination to isolate the hate mongers in India and other parts of the world to win the peaceful assertions against the culture of hate and terror.''
