Youth arrested for circulating fake note

Madikeri, July 11 (UNI) An youth was arrested on the charge of circulating fake note in the town, yesterday.

Police said the Virajpet police effected the arrest after Sanju (24) handed over a counterfeit Rs 500 note in a shop here.

On interrogation, Sanju said he received the note from a gambling den in the town.

Police suspect a fake note racket and were investigating.
