UPA is soft on terrorists and Naxals: Uma

New Delhi, July 11: Former Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Uma Bharati today said the UPA Government had totally failed to check terrorist activities in the country.

Refering to the serial bomb blasts in Mumbai this evening, Ms Bharati underlined the need for courage and even stricter laws than POTA to deal with terrorists. This government, however, failed to take any real measure to deal with the problem, she added. In fact this government was not only soft but friendly also with Naxals and terrorists indulging in armed activities, she alleged.
