Thirty-three member Indian squad for Asian Junior Athletics

New Delhi, July 11 (UNI) Athletics Federation of India (AFI) today axed Men and Women 4x100 relay teams and picked up 33-member squad for the Asian Junior meet to be held in Maccau from July 15 to 18 .

AFI secretary Lalit Bhanot said the 4x100m men's and women's relay teams failed to qualify as per the selection standards of the Federation.

He however said the 4x400m relay men's and women's teams have been cleared as they achieved the qualifying norms.

The squad which includes 16 women, will be accompanied by five officials.
